Faith is the greatest miracle-working power imaginable. Faith never fails a person. We fail when we give up on our faith. However, if we cut out any one of the five phases of faith, we will be disappointed with the ultimate results.
If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move, and nothing shall be impossible for you".
Following are the 5 phases to the full cycle of mountain-moving faith.
1. The Nesting Phase : In this phase, an idea drops into the mind as an egg is deposited in the birds nest. The unhitched egg rots in the nest. The idea passes through the mind without being taken seriously.
2. The Testing Phase : Ideas must be tested by asking the questions that rise out of your own value system. It's easy to make major decisions at the snap of a finger if we know the questions we have to ask to get reliable data as answers.
3. The Investing Phase : In this phase you make a public commitment. You commit time, money, energy, and possibly the most valuable products of all - pride and prestige to the publicly announced project.
4. The Arresting Phase : This phase of faith is God's way of testing us before the final victory. In this phase problems attack you. Troubles block you. Defeat seems certain. But don't trust the clouds - trust the sunshine. Move on to faith's final phase.
5. The Cresting Phase : This phase is the crowning phase of faith. The mountaintop is scaled ! Success finally is achieved. The money starts flowing your way. The winter passes; the spring returns.
