~:  Importance of Discipline  :~

One day a famous poet was visited by an admirer. They talked about the various topics, related to childrens.

Visitor said "I believe that children should be left free to think and act. Only then will they grow".

Poet got up and said to his visitor, I'd like you to see my flower garden".

Visitor shocked to see and asked Poet that, "But this isn't a garden, it's full of weeds" (wild plants)

"Yes", said the poet, it used to be the most beautifully laid out place." But this year I decided to let the garden grow as it wished. This is the result.

~:  LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME (TEACHERS)  :~

If I insisted my students do their exercises exactly as I do on blackboard ? Then I have killed their Independence, creativity and inventiveness…… Lord, have mercy on me.

Did I snub the child who said "Teacher, look, it can be done this way also?" If so I have destroyed his/her questioning spirit…… Lord forgive me.

Have I kept repeating the old out dated methods of teachings when they could have easily learnt through their own play-way ? If so we have produced robots who will able to follow a given routine procedure. Lord have mercy on me…..

Lord, Let all teachers teach their students

HOW TO THINK, not WHAT TO THINK
